You apply to your DNO for an increase in agreed capacity. The DNO will assess whether the network can supply it and quote for any works needed.
Q02What is a private wire arrangement?
A direct connection between a generator and a consumer that does not use the public network, such as a solar farm supplying an adjacent factory.
Q03Does adding solar or batteries affect my connection?
Yes. On-site generation or storage needs approval under G98 or G99, and may need export limitation if the network cannot accept full export.
